What is ezBill (TM)

ezBill is one of TSL's locally developed software applications which provides secure payment of utility company bills by customers at any EZ Top-up Merchant participating in the provision of ezBill services. TSL has developed a revolutionized method of bill payment which utilizes a secure POS terminal to authenticate a debit payment from a customers account at his/her bank while simultaneously updating TSL's hosting servers as well as the utilitiy company's information system.

TSL ezBill Payment provides:

• Advanced functionality at the Merchant counter.
• Convenience for customers as it allows them to pay their bills where they shop.
• Convenience for the utility company in that payment can be registered simultaneously to the utility thus removing the need for the utility to disconnect customers who have settled their bills in remote locations but the information has not yet been posted to their accounts.
• Merchants can earn revenue for each bill paid at their location.

For these reasons, offering bill payment is an effective way for service providers to improve merchant retention.

• Customer is identified by utility account number.
• Payment can be made with a debit or credit card.
• Transaction is two tier. One to Bank and one to Provider.
• Payment is not made to utility account unless an approval is received from the Bank.
